It is with deep sorrow that we regret to inform you of the sudden death of Awet Hadish who passed away on March 29th of 2009 at the young age of twenty seven. Awet was a co-founder of the Eritrean Youth Association of Canada and served as the first chairperson of the organization. There is no doubt that this man who was known for his creativity, wit, intelligence and resolve will be missed by those of us who had the pleasure of working with him.

EYAC would like to thank everyone that came out from both cities (Kitchener and Toronto) and made this years' wonderland a tremendous success.  Both cities combined brought 80 people to the park, so again we would like to thank all those that participated.  Pictures for the trip will be posted shortly so stay tuned for that.
